Projekte
- Peroxisomes and neuropeptide secretion: We analyze the role of peroxisomes and one of their biogenesis factors, Pex19, in the secretion of insulin-like peptides from neurons in the brain of Drosophila.
- ER-mitochondria (+peroxisome) communication: We assess how the communication of organelles of the "redox triangle" affects ROS production in dopaminergic neurons of Drosophila in models for Parkinson's disease.
- peroxisomes in human neurons during development: We use human neuroblastoma cells to find out how peroxisomal metabolism contributes to axon growth and synaptogenesis.
